Former Knight Frank partners launch Priestley Wish, a specialist land and new homes agency

Former residential development partners at Knight Frank have launched Priestley Wish, a new independent agency focused exclusively on sales, residential development land and new homes.

Based in Stratford-upon-Avon, the agency is structured around two complementary areas of expertise: New Homes & Residential Sales, led by Chris Priestley, and Land & Development, led by Jonny Wish. Together, the offering is designed to support clients across the full lifecycle of a scheme; from taking strategic land through to planning permission and a sale, then acting for the developer on new home sales and part exchanges.

Priestley Wish launches with an established client base, following the team’s long-standing relationships across the region, with ambitious plans for growth.

The new firm combines more than 40 years’ experience advising landowners, developers and investors across central England and beyond, launching at a time of increasing demand for senior-led advice as landowners and developers navigate complex planning and shifting market conditions.

Jonny Wish, co-founder of Priestley Wish, said: “Developers and landowners need advisors who are fully immersed in this sector. By creating a business focused heavily on residential land and new homes, we can provide more joined-up, commercially focused advice at every stage of the planning and development process.

“Chris and I are incredibly grateful to Knight Frank for the opportunities and experience we’ve gained over the past decade. It’s been a formative chapter in both our careers, working alongside exceptional colleagues and clients, and that foundation has played a significant role in shaping Priestley Wish.”

“Forming the new agency was a natural next step for us,” continued co-founder Chris Priestley. “We’ve spent years building deep relationships and delivering results for our landowner and developer clients. We wanted to offer a more focused, personalised and agile approach tailored to today’s evolving development landscape. Priestley Wish allows us to do this with independence and complete clarity of focus.”
